Psychology Fees at aMAZEin' Minds Psychology
At aMAZEin’ Minds Psychology, we aim to keep our psychology fees transparent and accessible. We charge below the Australian Psychological Society’s recommended rate to support affordability across our assessment and therapy services.
The APS recommended fee for a standard 40–60 minute consultation in 2025–2026 is $318. Our current psychology fees (as of 1 July 2024) are outlined below.
📈 Assessment Psychology Fees
We provide a range of psychological assessments to meet individual needs. Assessments are conducted by either registered psychologists or provisionally registered psychologists (provisional psychs).

Please note: Assessments usually involve multiple sessions and a detailed written report. The number of sessions required depends on the type and complexity of the assessment. At the bottom of this page are examples of typical assessment package costs.

📄 Other Psychology Services & Report Fees
NDIS Review Letters: Pricing available on request (based on scope and purpose).
Shorter Reports: Pricing available on request (based on scope and purpose).
Specialised Services: Extended sessions or additional consultations may incur additional charges. Fees will be discussed in advance.
Board-approved Supervision: Please contact us for more information about individual, group, or external consulting supervision fees.
NDIS, Medicare & Private Health Psychology Fees
NDIS Participants
We welcome clients who are self-managed or plan-managed through the NDIS. Please get in touch if you need assistance with invoices or services.
Medicare Rebates
Eligible clients can access Medicare rebates for psychology services with an appropriate referral from a GP.

Private Health
Rebates may also be available through your private health insurer, depending on your cover. Please check directly with your provider.
Travel Fees (External Visits)
While most services are delivered at our Mount Waverley office or via telehealth, travel may be arranged for school visits or observations. A travel fee applies:
Travel Fee: $115 per 10km (one-way), rounded up to the nearest 10km
Examples:
- 6km from clinic = $115
- 12km from clinic = $230

We accept payment via:
- EFTPOS
- Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard)
- Bank Transfer
Cancellation fees may apply. Full details are provided in your Service Agreement and cancellation policy at the time of booking.
