Cancellation Policy
At aMAZEin’ Minds Psychology, we understands that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent, while ensuring we can continue to provide excellent service to all our clients.
Please read our cancellation policy carefully, to understand what fees may be charged to you if you cancel within the times set out below.
Please note: upon signing the Agreement sent to you as a client of aMAZEin’ Minds Psychology, you sign and agree to the terms below.
Cancellation Guidelines
Cancellations with notice:
< 3 Business Hours – 100% of Price for Appointment
3 Business Hours – 1 Business Day – 50% of Price for Appointment
1 Business Day – 2 Business Day – 25% of Price for Appointment
> 2 Business Days – No Cancellation Fee
aMAZEin’ Minds Business Hours are 10:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday to Friday.
Note: 1 Business Day is 8 Business Hours;
e.g. 1 Business Day before an Appointment at 3:00PM on a Thursday, is 3:00PM on the Wednesday, exactly 24 Calendar Hours prior.
e.g. 3 Business Hours before an Appointment at 10:00AM on a Tuesday, is 3:00PM on the Monday, exactly 19 Calendar Hours prior.
e.g. 2 Business Days before an Appointment at 2:00PM on a Monday, is 2:00PM on the Thursday prior, exactly 96 Calendar Hours prior.
Cancellations without notice, i.e. no-shows:
An Appointment will be considered a no-show if the client does not attend (in person or telehealth) 15 minutes after the scheduled Appointment time.
No-shows will incur a Cancellation Fee of 100% of Price for the Appointment..
Estimate of Loss
The Cancellation Fee is a fair estimate of our losses when we we can’t fill your slot on short notice.
There are many times where sessions are in particularly high demand and when they are cancelled, this represents a loss to aMAZEin’ Minds Psychology, hindering our ability to provide our services to all our valued clients.
Reminders
Outside of the booking notification itself, we may send appointment reminders by email or SMS as a courtesy. However, not receiving a reminder is not a valid reason to avoid cancellation fees.
Payments
Invoices will be issues for the amount of the Cancellation Fee as outlined in the guidelines above.
Payments for Cancellation Fees may be automatically taken from any payment details stored with aMAZEin’ Minds Psychology. The payment will be in accordance with the guidelines above.
If it's on us
If for any reason that aMAZEin’ Minds Psychology needs to cancel your Appointment, no Cancellation Fee will be charged, and we will do our best to reschedule your Appointment as soon as possible at a time that suits.
