Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) Candidate, ACU
Olivia Thomson is a provisional psychologist completing the final placement of her Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) at Australian Catholic University. She provides therapy and comprehensive assessments for children, adolescents, and adults under the supervision of clinic director and Educational and Developmental psychologist, Dr Andrea Sadusky.
Olivia brings experience from a range of settings, including specialist schools, disability support work, and university clinics. She has supported neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, including Autistic clients, ADHDers, and people with Intellectual Developmental Disability.
Olivia provides individual therapy, group programs, and neuroaffirming psychological assessments, all tailored to each client’s strengths, preferences, and developmental needs. She collaborates with families, carers, teachers, and allied health professionals to ensure strategies are practical and consistent across home, school, and community settings.
Her approach is strengths-based, person-centred, and grounded in the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and understood. Olivia is passionate about fostering self-compassion and insight through strong therapeutic relationships. She draws on a range of evidence-based modalities and enjoys incorporating creativity and playfulness into her work where appropriate.
Fees and funding:
Sessions with Olivia are $180 per 50-minute session. While provisional psychologists are not eligible for Medicare rebates, NDIS (self- or plan-managed) funding may be used. Visit our NDIS information page or Mental Health Care Plan page to learn more.
Location and telehealth availability
Olivia is based at aMAZEin’ Minds Psychology in Mount Waverley, supporting clients across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, including Glen Waverley, Burwood, Chadstone, Ashwood, Notting Hill, and Oakleigh. Telehealth sessions are also available across Victoria and Australia.
